So Friday, I'm at the studio with Nick The Artist doing an A Toast 2 Artistry paint party and he tells me he's doing an event for LL Cool J's daughters Sweet 16.
I'm like, "oh that's so cool. I follow the older daughters and I like to see their style and what they're up to blah blah blah." Then Saturday night he hits me up to "assist" him at the party! Nick does a lot of painting using different mediums and would be doing airbrushing so he needed someone to take names and details for the hats/shirts. But the perk was I got to enjoy the concert that featured Lil Uzi Vert and OG Maco, food/champagne, and casually bump into huge celebrities in attendance.

So I'm standing there as Nina (LL's daughter) is opening her custom gifts from Rihanna (no big deal) and Mary J Blidge is dancing in front of me. So I'm like, omg I want a picture. But then I'm like, no don't look thirsty. LOL Then I just go for it and ask her if she's taking pics with her fans tonight and she says "some of them". I say, "well can I be one of them?" (Super thirsty.) Here are the pics:
It was a lot of fun and a great experience to get to connect with some people that work behind the scenes. Thanks, Nick!
